Flat Tire

The family and I were rushing to get to my in-laws for Christmas. What a hectic day, I already had to leave work early and go to the hospital with my kids. Ezra had fallen and was showing concussion like symptoms but was later cleared. On the way to in-laws we got caught in a snowstorm roads were bad. But I wanted to relax so I tried to pass a transport truck. As I passed the snow was blowing everywhere and I didn’t know it but the road was turning and I could not see the on coming traffic. By the grace of God my family was spared from my bad choice. I was sick to my stomach after that. When we stopped so the my wife could feed Emmanuel, I said sorry for what I did.

We continued on, we were about 10 minutes away from my in-laws I could taste relaxation. Then Ezra was asked for a “ca la” (which is chocolate)because he was hungry. I wanted to him to wait until we got to Grandmamas and Grandpapa’s. Also I packed the snacks in the back, I know, great move. A still small voice told me to stop and get him food. So, I stopped at the gas station just before then next 10 min drive through nowhere. I took a scan of my car and saw that I had flat tire! John 14:26 says “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” Could you imagine I didn’t let the Holy Spirit teach me?!? Be sure to listen to the Holy Spirit, you might see you about to head into a disaster on the way to your goal.
