During the time Shawn was my youth pastor; he encouraged and gave me opportunities to step into my calling. He, along with our youth group created an event called Unified that takes place each year to bring together many churches around the region for some worship and a message. He gave me the opportunity to sing at this first event which helped me gain some experience and started the process of breaking through my fears and anxiety of being in front of people. Thank you Shawn for pouring into each one of us as our youth pastor.
